Reflex PNP Harness B58 / S58 - Is the cheapest the best?

When choosing a Reflex wiring harness, it's important to be careful.

We have tested all available PnP wiring harnesses on the market, and it has become clear that not all of them work without issues. In some solutions, the Reflex unit does not power off when the car is in sleep mode, leading to battery drain overnight.

Our recommendation is to use the TMS PnP wiring harness, which, based on our tests, is the only option that correctly cuts power and does not leave the Reflex on. This avoids unnecessary battery drain and ensures hassle-free use of the system.

Technically, the problem can be circumvented by manually cutting power to the Reflex, but this is practically unnecessary extra hassle. If you are using another PnP wiring harness, you should check if the Reflex remains powered on even when the car is already asleep.
