Upgrade Your MQB Vehicle with a Reinforced Haldex Clutch
Reinforced Haldex clutch kit for all MQB platform vehicles, including VW Golf 7R, Audi S3, TTS, TT RS, and RS3 models.
A reinforced Haldex clutch is the right solution when you want to increase your engine's power and ensure that the power is efficiently transferred to the road. The original Haldex clutch typically begins to slip at relatively low torque levels, often as low as 700 Nm.Thanks to our reinforced clutch kit, the drivetrain can withstand torque of up to 1,000 Nm!
This allows you to utilize your vehicle's full performance without the rear-axle drivetrain becoming a limiting factor.
The design and overall plate thickness of our clutch kit largely match the original assembly, although two additional friction plate packs have been added to the kit. This prevents the friction plates from sticking together at low pump pressure.
Our friction plates and separator plates, specially developed for this application, significantly improve torque transfer to the rear axle. Better power transfer can also help improve the vehicle's acceleration and reduce, for example, the 0–100 km/h acceleration time.
Product Features
-
Reliable power transfer to the rear axle – efficient torque transfer even under demanding conditions.
-
Withstands high torque – designed to operate reliably even at torque levels exceeding 600 Nm.
-
Improved grip and traction – especially in high-performance vehicles, good grip is crucial for transferring the engine's torque to the road and reducing wheel spin on the driven wheels.
-
Tested in a highly powerful vehicle – we use the same clutch solution in our own Audi RS3 with over 1,100 hp.
Installation and Usage Considerations
The clutch kit is designed to work with the original pressure relief valve spring.
The Haldex pump pressure should not be increased above the maximum pressure of the original system.
