Superior ignition energy – performance comparison

The diagram illustrates how QT ignition coils provide more efficient ignition energy compared to an OEM ignition coil.

  • At less than 1.5 milliseconds, the performance of both sides is still at the same level.

  • When the duration increases to 2.0 milliseconds, the energy delivery of the original coils begins to decline significantly, but the QT coils maintain stable power.

  • At 3.0 milliseconds, QT coils produce up to approximately 25% more energy – a significant advantage in tuned or high-revving engines.

  • Even at high temperatures of 140°C, QT coils maintain a stable energy level of 70 mJ, while original coils suffer a significant power reduction or stop working altogether.
