If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

Bosch 4 BAR Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, with small sensor head.

Also known as the Thrust Sensor , the sensor's job is to measure the boost pressure in the engine's intake manifolds as well as the air temperature.

This sensor is often used in tuning VAG Group engines, as its higher 4 BAR measurement range allows the safe use of higher boost pressures compared to standard sensors (2.5–3 BAR).
The sensor should only be installed on the recommendation of a tuning expert , as incorrect sensor selection or coding can damage the engine.

Aptitude

  • Bosch's small sensor head fits into the 12 mm MAP sensor mounting holes.

  • Versions with a large sensor head are suitable for 18 mm mountings.
