When using over 700 Nm of torque, a race clutch is essential, as the original splines will be damaged and can tear off.
With our reinforced clutch, the full potential of the performance increase can be utilized. An essential upgrade for every tuned engine with a DSG transmission and a torque exceeding 700 Nm.
Unfortunately, standard clutch baskets are not designed for high power and break very easily. In the worst case, there is a risk of serious gearbox damage.
With our BAR-TEK® clutch kit, this problem is a thing of the past. Where the original clutch in engines with a DSG-DQ250 gearbox often starts to slip at around 450 Nm of torque, our kit allows for fast shifts without loss of grip – and at full power up to 1000 Nm.
This means that torque does not need to be limited, as is often the case, but you can utilize the full extent of the power increase. Our reinforced clutches have already been tested and proven in motorsport, so you don't have to worry about the high wear of the standard clutch.
