The exhaust system can be ordered in two different versions:
*With ECE approval*
Only when choosing Bull-X Tronic control unit
An ECE-approved exhaust system does not require modification inspection and is approved for road use. While driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes to control how the flaps operate. If your car has a driving mode selector, you can also control the flaps that way. For vehicles without a driving mode selector, you can control the flaps with the included separate on/off button. The button is backlit; when the light is on, the flaps are closed, and when the light is off, the flaps are open. The exhaust flaps operate within the limits permitted by ECE approval, regardless of the driving mode.
Bull-X Tronic offers two options for the exhaust flaps:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): Within the limits permitted by ECE approval, the flap is always in the open position. When the car is stationary, the flap is always in the closed position.
- Comfort mode: The flap is always in the closed position, but within the limits permitted by ECE approval, the flap opens when at least 75% throttle is applied while the car is moving.
*Without ECE approval*:
If you choose one of these three options, Bull-X Tronic "Race", flap controller with switch, or flap controller with remote control, the product is not ECE approved.
Bull-X Tronic "Race" differs from the ECE-approved model in that the exhaust flap can also be opened when stationary, but while driving, depending on the driving mode and throttle position, the flap operates similarly to the ECE-approved model.
