FMIC.Pro valve-controlled catback exhaust system with Single Mid-Pipe design – BMW M3 G80 / G81 and M4 G82 / G83 3.0 S58 2021–

The FMIC.Pro catback exhaust system is designed to improve exhaust flow and deliver a distinctly sportier soundscape.

The system's 76–89 mm (3.0–3.5”) pipe diameter and muffler design produce a deeper and fuller sound under load. At the same time, good driving comfort is maintained during normal driving, especially when the exhaust valves are closed.

The system is made entirely of SS304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and high operating temperatures. CNC-bent pipes ensure uniform geometry and precise fitment to the vehicle's original mounting points. Installation is straightforward and follows the plug & play principle.

All welded seams are TIG welded under argon gas shielding. This creates neat, finished, and completely sealed joints, which are essential for the long-term durability of the system.

CNC-machined 10 mm thick flanges are used at the connection points. They increase structural rigidity, reduce the risk of deformation caused by thermal cycles, and ensure even compression pressure on the gasket across the entire joint surface.

The system features integrated electronic exhaust valves that control the exhaust flow at the rear:

• Valves closed: Exhaust gases pass through the entire muffler system, producing a subdued soundscape and good driving comfort for daily driving.

• Valves open: Exhaust gases bypass the rear muffler, making the sound louder, more direct, and sportier.

Thanks to this solution, the driver can adjust the exhaust system's soundscape according to driving conditions and personal preferences. The exhaust valves are controlled by the included control unit and two remote controls, allowing the operating mode to be switched instantly.

Single Mid-Pipe version

In the Single Mid-Pipe version, a single pipe is used in the center section of the exhaust system. This design generally produces a deeper, fuller, and bass-oriented exhaust sound.

The difference is generally most noticeable at idle and low to mid-range RPMs, when the sound is deeper and more subdued. As RPMs increase, the system maintains its full and powerful sound without as distinct a transition to higher frequencies as the Dual X-Pipe version.

Single Mid-Pipe is a good choice for drivers who want a deeper and bass-oriented exhaust sound for both daily driving and more dynamic driving.

To achieve the best performance potential, it is recommended to use the FMIC.Pro catback exhaust system with a high-flow downpipe. This is especially recommended for turbocharged engines.
