GRAIL Downpipe – BMW M5 F10 / M6 F06, F12, F13 | S63 4.4 V8 Biturbo (2011–2018)

The GRAIL Downpipe is designed for BMW M5 F10 and BMW M6 F06/F12/F13 models equipped with the S63 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The product replaces the original catalytic converters and brings out the engine's sporty sound even better.

The downpipe's catalytic converters are heat-insulated on the outside. The heat insulation helps retain heat in the exhaust system and protects the components surrounding the engine bay from excessive heat load.

Made from L304 steel, the GRAIL Downpipe is type-approved in accordance with the UN ECE R103 standard. According to the manufacturer, the product can be combined with the original exhaust system, GRAIL's valve-controlled exhaust system, or other ECE type-approved exhaust systems in accordance with the approval conditions.

Deliveries start in March 2027.

What is replaced in the vehicle?

The most important thing is the system's connection point: up to where does the original exhaust system remain, and where does the new part begin?

The original catalytic converters are replaced with the catalytic converters of the GRAIL Downpipe system, whose outer surface is heat-insulated. The middle part of the exhaust system and the rear muffler remain unchanged. They can be kept original or replaced with GRAIL's valve-controlled exhaust system.
