The GRAIL exhaust system is designed to produce maximum sound volume within the limits of ECE regulations .

Intelligent valve control optimizes the engine sound and ensures that you get the maximum legal sound possible. Efficient mufflers allow for a strong engine sound outside the test areas, as the valves close automatically in these measurement areas.

When the valves are closed, the rear silencer participates in the exhaust flow – this way the system meets noise regulations. Outside of that, the engine sound takes full advantage.

The system uses vehicle-specific dampers developed at the GRAIL Sound Lab , which are designed to work in conjunction with durable valves.
When the valves are open, the engine produces a powerful and emotional V12 sound. When the valves close, the sound is effectively attenuated.

In the measurement areas, the GRAIL exhaust system is no louder than the original system, but outside of them the difference is clearly audible.
