iE's Transmission Control Unit (TCU) for Audi turbocharged B9 A4, A5 and Q5 2.0T models brings more power, faster shifts, adjustable launch control and several other transmission performance-enhancing features. Combined with compatible ECU programming, acceleration is significantly improved, transforming the tuned turbo engine into a true all-round performance car.

Unlock the full potential of your iE B9 2.0T Stage 1 and Stage 2 engine programming with a compatible Transmission Control Unit (TCU). Without it, power gains and performance features will be limited, leaving acceleration and power untapped.
iE TCU programming significantly improves shift speeds, removes torque limiters, increases line pressure to prevent transmission slippage, and introduces user-adjustable launch control. The end result is significantly better power output, stronger pull, sharper shifts, and significantly better overall acceleration.
ADJUSTABLE LAUNCH CONTROL
Experience powerful launches with iE's transmission programming, which includes adjustable launch control. Designed for optimal performance, the system offers three different launch settings:
Street , Aggressive and Race
Each setting increases the starting RPM and allows you to tailor the output to your vehicle and tire configuration for the best traction and power output. Each setting has two RPM and AMAX options, controlled by the accelerator pedal:

Press the accelerator pedal 100% without activating the kickdown switch → start at the selected minimum speed without AMAX

Press the accelerator pedal all the way down and activate kickdown → start +400 rpm higher and AMAX in all gears, maximum and most aggressive start and acceleration strategy

Note: AMAX is an advanced shifting strategy that significantly improves acceleration by maintaining power on both transmission clutches simultaneously during gear changes. This provides a clear advantage, especially in competitive acceleration driving.
DRIVEABILITY IMPROVEMENTS
Factory-programmed transmission mapping often falls short of the performance-seeking requirements of drivers. iE TCU programming addresses these shortcomings by completely re-engineering the transmission mapping for enthusiast use.

Important:
Compatible with 2017-2020 DL382 DSG Gen 1 transmissions only. TCU programming is not compatible with 2021+ Gen 2 TCU versions. In some rare cases, 2019-2020 model year vehicles may have an unsupported Gen 2 version.
