KW V3 -coilover suspension
Unlimited individuality between performance and driving comfort.
Damping forces are separately adjustable for rebound and compression.
As with all KW coilover suspensions, our engineers have developed a sporty yet balanced basic setup. To ensure the perfect suspension, we conduct tests on KW's 7-post test bench and extensive road tests on country roads, highways, and even the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The KW V3 has been one of the top aftermarket products for years and a benchmark for coilover suspensions. Its damping characteristics, quality of finish, and durability impress sports car drivers, tuners, and manufacturers such as Alpina, MTM, Manthey, Oettinger, and many other leading players in the international automotive industry.
Advanced motorsport technology
The KW V3 offers more than just a sporty lowering and excellent handling in all conditions. It is based on our extensive experience as a suspension manufacturer and supplier in international motorsport, including ADAC GT Masters, FIA GT1, FIA GT3, International GT Open, WTCC, VLN, and the legendary Nürburgring 24-hour race.
As with the KW Racing series competition suspensions, the compression and rebound damping in the KW V3 are independently adjustable. This individual adjustment capability is valued by car manufacturers, tuners, and drivers worldwide.
The perfect chassis for more driving pleasure
If your vehicle has already undergone performance-enhancing modifications, the KW V3 complements them perfectly. The patented KW valve technology allows for separate adjustment of compression and rebound damping, enabling a completely individualized suspension setup. The adjustable bottom valve allows for 12 precise clicks of adjustment for the low-speed compression damping range.
You don't need any special tools, as the compression damping is adjusted directly via a dial on the lower part of the stainless steel strut. This adjustment affects, for example, body roll without needing to change the spring rate.
The KW V3's separately adjustable rebound damping directly affects handling and comfort. Adjustment is made, depending on the vehicle, via a knob at the top of the piston rod or with the included adjustment tool.
Increasing the rebound damping can reduce body movements and improve stability, especially at high speeds and during cornering. For example, when switching to larger, manufacturer-approved wheel and tire sizes, the KW V3 allows for precise optimization of handling.
High-quality, individual, and durable
The KW V3 coilover kit and every shock absorber undergo extensive quality tests during production to meet KW's high quality standards. This allows KW to offer a warranty of up to five years when installed by an authorized dealer. The stainless steel inox-line construction is 100% rust-free and extremely durable.
The continuous height adjustment works reliably even after years of use, thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and composite adjustment ring. The individual lowering emphasizes the vehicle's sporty appearance – a feature that is very popular in the performance-oriented tuning world.
