To ensure the perfect suspension, we conduct tests on KW's 7-post test bench and extensive driving tests on country roads, highways, and even the Nürburgring Nordschleife. For years, the KW V3 has been one of the top products in the aftermarket and a benchmark for coilover suspensions. Just like in the KW Racing series race suspensions, the KW V3's compression and rebound damping are independently adjustable. This individual adjustability is valued by car manufacturers, tuners, and drivers worldwide.
The Perfect Suspension for Enhanced Driving Pleasure
If your vehicle already has performance-enhancing modifications, the KW V3 complements them perfectly. The patented KW valve technology allows for separate adjustment of compression and rebound damping, enabling a completely individualized suspension setup. The adjustable KW bottom valve allows for 12 precise clicks of adjustment for the low-speed range of compression damping.
No special tools are needed, as compression damping is adjusted directly using a knob at the bottom of the stainless steel strut. This allows for control over body roll without changing the spring rate.
The independently adjustable rebound damping of the KW V3 directly affects handling and comfort. Adjustment is made via an integrated adjustment wheel at the top of the piston rod or with the included adjustment tool, depending on the vehicle.
Increasing rebound damping can reduce body movements and improve stability, especially at high speeds and during cornering. For example, when switching to larger, manufacturer-approved wheel and tire sizes, the KW V3 allows for precise optimization of handling.
High-Quality, Individual, and Durable
The KW V3 coilover kit and every shock absorber undergo extensive quality tests during production to meet KW's high quality standards. This allows KW to offer up to a five-year warranty when installed by an authorized dealer. The stainless steel inox-line construction is 100% rust-free and extremely durable.
The stepless height adjustment works reliably even after years of use, thanks to the dirt-repellent trapezoidal thread and composite adjustment ring. The individual lowering emphasizes the vehicle's sporty appearance – a feature that is very popular in the performance-oriented tuning world.
