KW V3 Clubsport coilover suspension
Uncompromising racing technology for track and road
KW Clubsport coilovers utilize uncompromising technology transfer from motorsport for track and road use.
KW Clubsport suspensions combine KW's top-level racing technology with maintenance-free OEM components and TÜV approval. The result is a perfect solution for exploiting the full potential of a sports car on track days, driving schools, Grand Prix circuits, and legendary track sections such as the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Developed on the world's most demanding track: the Nürburgring Nordschleife
KW Clubsport coilovers offer extensive adjustment possibilities for different track surfaces, tight corners, and significant elevation changes. Clubsport truly shines on the Nürburgring Nordschleife's famous corner combinations and its 20.8-kilometer demanding track section.
KW acts as a suspension supplier in numerous motorsport series. Over 10 years, the company achieved six ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring victories and the ADAC GT Masters 2011 championship. Over 70 racing teams use KW coilover systems in the VLN Endurance Championship series.
These teams rely on KW's racing experience and suspension tuning expertise, and the same technical knowledge is evident in the development of KW Clubsport suspensions.
Versatile adjustment possibilities
KW V3 Clubsport and KW V4 Clubsport suspensions offer the user plenty of adjustment options. This allows the suspension to be fine-tuned to the driver's driving style and the car's tire and wheel setup.
In some applications, Clubsport suspensions are also available with an inverted monotube design, where the piston rod is located at the bottom. This design provides more precise steering feel, better stability, and increased safety, especially in cars subjected to high lateral forces during track driving.
Rebound and compression damping are adjusted independently by hand using integrated click adjusters. In some models, adjustable top mounts are available as an optional extra.
KW V3 Clubsport Racing Technology
The rebound damping adjustment knob offers 16 precise clicks, allowing the car's suspension to be perfectly adjusted to the driver's preferences. This can affect, for example, wheel and tire load and the suspension's behavior.
Compression damping operates independently of rebound adjustment and offers 12 precise adjustment steps for low-speed damping. This is particularly used to optimize the tire and wheel set.
Thanks to these adjustment features, the suspension can be adapted to the car's weight, wheel and tire combinations, various track conditions, and environmental factors.
