KW V3 Clubsport - Coilover Suspension Kit
Motorsport Technology for Road and Track
KW Clubsport coilover kits bring uncompromising motorsport suspension technology to track day driving and street car use.
KW Clubsport combines KW's top-level racing suspension technology with maintenance-free, OEM-grade components and vehicle-specific approval documentation. The result is an ideal suspension for drivers who want to utilize the full performance potential of their sports car during track days, driving schools, hobby racing on Grand Prix circuits, and challenging tracks such as the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Designed for the World's Most Demanding Racetrack – the Nürburgring Nordschleife
KW Clubsport is designed to cope with various track surfaces, tight corners, and significant changes in elevation. Its natural operating environment is the legendary 20.8-kilometer Nürburgring Nordschleife, known as one of the world's most demanding racetracks.
KW serves as a suspension supplier for numerous international racing series. KW has achieved six ADAC Zurich 24h race victories at the Nürburgring within ten years, as well as the ADAC GT Masters championship in 2011.
In the VLN Endurance Championship series, over 70 race teams use KW's suspension systems. These teams benefit from KW's decades of experience in adjusting race car suspensions and optimizing vehicle dynamics. The same expertise is reflected in the design of KW Clubsport coilover kits.
Versatile Adjustment Options
KW V3 Clubsport and KW V4 Clubsport offer extensive adjustment options, allowing the suspension to be adapted to the driver's driving style and the car's wheel and tire combination.
Depending on the vehicle, the Clubsport suspension is also available with an inverted monotube design. In this design, the piston rod is located at the bottom of the shock absorber. This solution allows for more precise steering feel and improved stability and safety. The benefits are particularly pronounced in cars subjected to high lateral forces on the track.
Rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently with integrated click adjusters without the need for separate tools. For certain vehicle applications, adjustable top mounts are also available.
KW V3 Clubsport - Racing Technology
The rebound adjuster has 16 precise clicks, allowing the suspension to be fine-tuned to the driver's desired setting. This can influence, among other things, the load on the tire and wheel, and take into account the characteristics of the car's chassis.
Independent of rebound, the compression adjuster offers 12 precise clicks, allowing for specific adjustment of the damping's low-speed range. This adjustment option is particularly useful for optimizing the car's wheel and tire combination.
With these adjustments, the suspension can be precisely adapted to, for example:
- car weight
- wheel and tire combination
- different track surfaces
- different road conditions
- environmental and weather conditions
- driver's driving style.

Adjustment Options – Optimizing the Suspension for Different Uses
The KW V3 Clubsport offers a wide adjustment range, specifically designed for the demands of the Nürburgring Nordschleife and other racetracks.
The suspension's separate rebound and compression adjustments allow for precise fine-tuning according to the driver, tires, and track conditions. This optimizes the car's suspension performance in terms of both grip and handling when the goal is to utilize the car's performance as effectively as possible on the track.
