Our engineers have developed a sporty yet balanced basic setup, as is the case with all KW coilover kits. To ensure a perfect chassis, we test the products on KW's 7-post test bench and extensively in practical driving on country roads, highways, and even the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The KW V3 coilover suspension has been one of the top aftermarket products and a benchmark for coilovers for years. It convinces sports car drivers, tuners, and small and large car manufacturers, such as Alpina, MTM, Manthey, Oettinger, and many others, with its excellent damping characteristics, finish, and durability.
Advanced technology from motorsport
The KW V3 coilover suspension offers much more than just lowering and excellent handling. It is based on our long experience as a chassis manufacturer and supplier in international motorsport, including series such as ADAC GT Masters, FIA GT1, FIA GT3, International GT Open, WTCC, VLN, and the legendary ADAC Zürich 24h Nürburgring race.
Just like in the race-specific coilovers of the KW Racing series, the compression and rebound damping in the KW V3 are independently adjustable. This individual adjustment option is highly valued by sports car manufacturers, tuners, and drivers worldwide.
The perfect chassis for more driving pleasure
If you have already made performance-related changes to your vehicle, the KW V3 complements them perfectly. The patented KW valve technology allows for separate compression and rebound damping adjustment, enabling individual fine-tuning of the chassis.
The adjustable KW base valve allows for 12 precise clicks of low-speed compression damping adjustment.
No separate tools are required, as the patented compression adjustment is located on the bottom of the stainless steel strut. The 12-way adjustment allows control of body roll without changing spring stiffness, which is optimally matched to the rebound damping.
With the individually adjustable rebound damping of the KW V3, you can directly influence handling and comfort through precise adjustment steps. Depending on the vehicle, adjustment is made either at the top of the shock absorber with an integrated adjustment wheel or with the supplied adjustment tool.
By increasing the rebound damping, body movements are reduced and stability at high speeds is improved. For example, when increasing tire and rim sizes, the KW V3 allows the car's handling to be optimally adjusted.
High quality, individuality and durability
Every KW V3 kit and individual shock absorber undergoes extensive quality tests during production. This allows us to offer up to a 5-year warranty when installed by an authorized KW dealer.
The stainless steel KW coilover shock absorbers are 100% corrosion-resistant and extremely durable.
Continuous ride height adjustment works reliably even after years of use, thanks to the dirt-repellent KW trapezoidal thread and composite adjustment nut. With stepless height adjustment, you can accentuate your vehicle's sporty appearance – a feature highly popular in tuning circles.
