KW V4 Clubsport - Coilover Suspension
Uncompromising Motorsport Technology for Track and Street
KW Clubsport coilovers utilize uncompromising technology transfer from motorsport for both track and street driving.
KW Clubsport suspensions combine KW's top-tier racing technology with maintenance-free OEM components and TÜV approval.
This makes them the perfect solution for exploiting the full potential of a sports car on track days, driving schools, Grand Prix circuits, and legendary track sections such as the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Developed on the world's most demanding track: Nürburgring Nordschleife
KW Clubsport coilovers offer the ability to adjust the suspension for different track surfaces, tight corners, and significant elevation changes. Clubsport excels on the famous corner combinations and the demanding 20.8-kilometer track section of the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
KW is a suspension supplier in several different motorsport series. Over 10 years, the company achieved six ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring victories and the ADAC GT Masters 2011 championship. More than 70 racing teams use KW coilover systems in the VLN Endurance Championship series.
These teams rely on KW's racing experience and suspension tuning expertise, and the same technical know-how is also evident in the development of KW Clubsport suspensions.
The KW V3 Clubsport and KW V4 Clubsport suspensions offer users extensive adjustment possibilities, allowing the suspension to be adapted to the driver's driving style and the car's tire and wheel setup.
Rebound and compression damping are adjusted independently using integrated click adjusters. In some applications, adjustable top mounts are available as an option.
KW V4 Clubsport Coilovers
Utilizing the Nordschleife and a 7-post test rig, KW developed the KW V4 Clubsport coilover kit.
The KW V4 Clubsport allows for consideration of wheel loads, vehicle weight, and body reinforcements (added chassis stiffness) thanks to its extensive adjustment features.
Similar to the KW V4 Racing suspensions, low- and high-speed compression damping are adjusted via KW's patented twin-valve adjustment system, located in the external reservoir.
- The purple adjustment wheel allows for low-speed compression damping adjustment with 6 precise clicks.
- The gold adjustment wheel allows for high-speed compression damping adjustment with 14 precise clicks.
- There are 16 precise adjustment steps for rebound damping, which significantly affect the suspension's behavior.
Reducing rebound force improves driving comfort, for example, when driving on highways.
Features
- Rebound damping adjustment, 16 precise clicks
- Compression damping adjustment:
- 6 clicks in the low-speed range
- 14 precise clicks in the high-speed range
- Continuously adjustable lowering
- Tested adjustment range
- High-quality components for long-lasting use
- Independent damping force adjustment
- Available with aluminum spherical bearing / uniball top mounts
