The Milltek Sport GPF/OPF Bypass exhaust system is designed for BMW F90 M5 and M5 Competition models equipped with OPF/GPF particulate filters. This system removes the flow restrictions caused by the particulate filter, unleashing the sound and flow capacity of the S63 V8 engine for maximum performance.
The GPF/OPF Bypass solution completely bypasses the original particulate filter and provides a more open exhaust flow, which improves sound, throttle response and response characteristics in the limit areas.
Maximum, sporty V8 sound
Milltek has tuned the GPF/OPF Bypass system to accentuate the character of the S63 engine:
-
Open, powerful and deeper V8 sound at idle
-
Sporty and lively sound during acceleration
-
Unleashed sound at high revs without the limitations of a particulate filter
-
No disturbing resonance in daily driving (when using a suitable silencer solution)
The soundscape is more aggressive and localized, supporting the performance nature of the F90-M5/M5 Competition models.
Improved flow and response
GPF/OPF Bypass solution:
-
eliminates the flow resistance caused by the particulate filter
-
improves turbo and exhaust system flow
-
supports the speed and dynamics of the engine's throttle response
-
can support additional power and response with tuning parts and software updates
This is one of the most effective ways to unlock the potential of the exhaust system on the S63 engine.
Direct bolt-on installation
