Finally the time has come, the new Open E-INTAKE is now also available for the 2.5 TFSI EA855 evo engine!!
The open intake with certificate offers the maximum performance & Brutal sound!
The system can be combined with other type-approved components (exhaust systems with ECE and downpipes with ECE) as well as an E-INTAKE / HG-Motorsport intercooler, which is also noted in the report.
When combined with ECE-tested exhaust systems, proof of compliance with the idling noise limit may have to be provided by the inspector.
The intake consists of an aluminum intake pipe, which increases from 114mm to 152mm.
With this larger intake volume, the air flow is significantly improved compared to the standard intake.
