The REVIN Short Shifter is designed for Audi, Seat, Škoda and VW models with 02M, 02Q or 02J transmissions and top mount type gearshifts . This model has been specially developed for drivers who demand maximum precision, speed and mechanical feel from their gearshifts – also in racing use.
40% shorter gear range
The shift lever travel is reduced by up to 40% , making gear selections faster and more precise. The shorter travel reduces hand movement and improves control, especially during high-speed driving.
Self-centering spring mechanism
REVIN's self-centering spring automatically returns the gear lever to the center position. This design reduces excess gear lever movement and compensates for transmission wear by up to 95% , maintaining precise and consistent gear shifting feel even after long-term driving.
425 mm height from the tunnel
The gear knob is positioned 425 mm above the gearshift tunnel , bringing the gear lever closer to the steering wheel. This improves ergonomics and reduces reaction times when the hand remains close to the steering wheel.
Chassis mounted – rigid and precise construction
The REVIN Short Shifter is chassis mounted , unlike many OEM shifters that are mounted directly to the transmission. This solution reduces flex, increases stiffness, and improves mechanical shifting precision.
Gear Lockout
The included locking mechanism prevents incorrect gear selections. Reverse, 5th and 6th gears are only engaged when the lock is activated by lifting the collar under the gear knob. This increases safety, especially on the track and in competition use.
Customizable appearance
The gear lever has an M12x1.5 thread , so you can use the original gear knob or freely choose any aftermarket knob to suit your style.
Ideal for racing use
The top mount design allows the shift cables to be rerouted inside the car , allowing the shift lever and cables to operate in a dust-free environment. This is especially important in rallying, gravel racing and drifting.
