If the product is not in stock and it is a pre order product, the average delivery time is 5-21 business days. If the product has a longer delivery time than previously announced, we will be in touch. International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties, and customs fees upon arrival in the destination country.

Terms for product returns:

• You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
• The products must be unused and without damages
• Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
• For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
• Shipping costs are not refunded

For international orders sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Pre order / made-to-order products

If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.

The Spool Performance clutch upgrade kit has been developed for the Speedshift DCT 7-speed transmission on the Mercedes-AMG C190 platform for situations where engine power and torque clearly exceed the capacity of the OEM clutch package. Over a year of development and testing, the optimized design increases friction surface area, improves thermal management and takes torque endurance to a whole new level without compromising driveability.

7/8 clutch configuration – larger friction surface

Spool's innovative 7/8 clutch design upgrade increases the number of plates and friction surface area:

• Better powertrain efficiency

• More even load distribution

• Significantly higher torque endurance

• Less clutch slippage under heavy use

Additional plates enable higher torque readings to be transmitted safely even at high temperatures.

FX-DCTR friction material – motorsport grade

Spool Performance developed the FX-DCTR friction material specifically for DCT transmissions, where a high coefficient of friction and high energy tolerance are required.

• High coefficient of friction for excellent grip

• Long service life under heavy loads

• OEM-style engagement feel

Even though the material can withstand significantly higher loads, the shifting feel remains soft and predictable.

Torque endurance up to ~1400 ft-lbs

The assembly is designed to handle up to approximately 1400 ft-lbs (~1900 Nm) of torque:

• Suitable for hybrid turbo builds

• Suitable for high boost pressures and E85 configurations

• Stable operation in track use

• Long service life in harsh temperature cycles

This clearly exceeds the clutch capacity of the standard Speedshift DCT.

Reduced drag torque and improved efficiency

Redesigned separator springs reduce drag torque:
