TTE750 hybrid turbocharger based on the original parts of the Porsche 991 Turbo

For the production of the TTE750 upgrade turbocharger, TTE uses larger milled compressor wheels of the latest generation made of high-strength aluminum and very thin blades. Not only are they larger than the series parts, they are also equipped with extended tip technology. They therefore promote significantly more air mass and still respond very early.

The turbine wheels are also replaced for a larger size and blades clipped for more flow.

The standard compressor housings and exhaust housings are machined with a CNC milling machine so that they can accommodate the new wheels.

Equilibrium

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as Longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics as well. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieve our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the Ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.
