Overview

Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick.

These kits mount using factory mounting holes and integrate seamlessly with the surrounding engine components.

The closed-loop system does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions and track legal. It removes oil and sludge from the PCV gases before they are routed back into the engine for combustion. The system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for improved performance while preventing unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin.

The integrated dipstick allows for easy inspection of collected fluid. No cutting, drilling, or permanent vehicle modifications are required.

20-0635 Catch Can Kit, PCV, Nissan S15 Silvia / 200SX

The PCV catch can kit installs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold.

When intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valve closes and no flow occurs through the hose. During idle, steady-state cruising, and deceleration, the PCV system experiences metered vacuum, preventing unwanted crankcase vapors, unburned fuel, and oil sludge from entering the intake manifold after high-load driving.

20-0636 Catch Can Kit, CCV, Nissan S15 Silvia / 200SX

The CCV catch can mounts using two of the wiper motor mounting points.

To retain factory functionality, the CCV catch can installs inline between the crankcase ventilation (CCV) port and the intake pipe.

At low engine loads, the system experiences atmospheric pressure. During high-load operation (WOT), high crankcase flow would normally carry oil and sludge into the intake system, where it can accumulate in the air intake pipe and intercooler, reducing heat exchanger efficiency and engine performance.

The CCV catch can captures these contaminants and returns clean, filtered air to the intake system.
