Even ex works, the original valves leak at higher boost pressure, which causes a loss of power that is even more pronounced in performance-enhanced vehicles due to the higher boost pressure.
By installing the GFB DV+, this "hole" in the charge air system is closed.
The DV+ thus protects the turbocharger and improves the response behaviour.
Advantages:
- 100% tight even at high charge pressures (faultless up to 2.5 bar)
- Noticeably more power and torque
- Made of aluminium (housing) or brass (piston): more reliability and durability for performance-enhanced vehicle
- Faster boost pressure build-up compared to an original diverter valve
- Plug & Play: easy installation within 10-15 minutes, as the original control unit is retained
This valve can only be used in conjunction with the original magnetic valve unit.
