Unfortunately, the standard clutch baskets are not designed for high performance and break very easily. In the worst case, this can lead to severe transmission damage.
With our BAR-TEK® clutch kit, this problem is a thing of the past. While the original clutch in engines with DSG-DQ500 transmission often starts slipping at around 650 Nm, our kit enables fast shifts without loss of grip – and at full power up to 1300 Nm.
This means that the torque does not have to be limited, as is often the case, but you can fully exploit the performance increase. Our reinforced clutches have already been tested and proven in motorsport, so you don't have to worry about high wear on the standard clutch.
