Mikäli tuotetta ei ole varastossa ja kyseessä on tilaustuote, keskimääräinen toimitusaika on 5-14 arkipäivää.   Mikäli tuotteen toimitusaika on pidempi, ilmoitamme siitä.

The Spool Performance FX-200 is a high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) performance upgrade for Mercedes-AMG M178 engines. This solution is designed for high-power configurations of the AMG GT series, where the standard fuel system is insufficient to support increasing power goals.

What is the FX-200?

The FX-200 is an upgraded high-pressure pump with a larger piston diameter than the standard one. This enables approximately +80% more fuel flow compared to the original pump.

• Approximately +80% flow compared to stock
• Full E85 compatibility
• Plug & Play installation without cutting or wiring modifications
• Operating pressure up to approx. 250 bar
• Improves injector flow and shortens injection time

The additional capacity allows for:

• Higher ethanol blends
• Larger turbochargers
• Significantly higher power levels

Why is an upgrade necessary?

The M178 engine's standard HPFP is a clear limitation for tuning:

• Insufficient fuel supply for high power levels
• Limited use of ethanol blends

FX-200:

• Significantly increases fuel system capacity
• Expands platform fuel limits
• Enables more efficient and safer tuning

Software requirements

Operating the pump requires software modifications:

• Calibration must be performed before use
• Without adjustment, use can cause damage and void the warranty

Spool:

• Provides calibration data to the tuner
• Assists in finding an experienced tuner if needed

Note: Spool does not offer ready-made custom tunes

Important note: LPFP

The low-pressure fuel system is critical:

• Insufficient LPFP can damage the HPFP and injectors
• HPFP lubrication is based on fuel flow
• Lack of fuel can lead to wear and failure
