The Spool Wireless Ethanol Analyzer Kit offers a cost-effective and reliable way to monitor your vehicle's fuel ethanol content and temperature. Combined with a GM ethanol sensor and a free smartphone app, the analyzer displays real-time fuel ethanol content as a percentage and temperature in degrees Fahrenheit.

The analyzer utilizes Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) technology, which minimizes smartphone battery consumption without affecting the phone's standard Bluetooth functions.

Why do you need an ethanol content monitoring system?

According to the latest ASTM guidelines, the ethanol content of fuel sold as E85 can vary between 51 and 85 percent. This means that E85 pumped at a gas station may, in reality, be something like E55, containing only 55% ethanol. This variation can pose significant risks for vehicles using performance-optimized E85 engine calibrations.

If the engine calibration is designed for a higher ethanol content than what is actually used, engine damage may occur. With the Spool Ethanol Analyzer Kit, you will know the actual ethanol content of the fuel in your tank and can ensure the safe and efficient operation of your engine.

Ethanol sensor application

The free app includes versatile features, such as:

• Ethanol blend calculator: helps to accurately calculate the desired fuel mixture.

• Automatic ethanol content reading: when the analyzer is installed, the app automatically reads the ethanol content of the fuel in the tank.

• Standalone use: the app can also be used without the analyzer to estimate and calculate fuel mixtures.

Upgraded fuel lines

The kit includes fuel lines equipped with 6AN fittings, featuring a PTFE inner liner, black nylon covering, and a stainless steel braided reinforcement. The lines are compatible with ethanol fuels and withstand very high pressures, making them suitable even for demanding performance applications.

Available fuel line options:

1. HPFP to fuel tank (long line)

2. HPFP to factory fuel line (short line)

All lines feature anodized aluminum PTFE fittings, which ensure a tight and reliable connection.
