Upgraded thermostat housing and water pump with metal impeller for all third-generation chain-driven 1.8 and 2.0 TSI engines, used in vehicles such as the Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI, Audi S3 and several other models.

Complete, ready-to-install kit. Our thermostat housing is made entirely of aluminum and replaces the original, failure-prone plastic housing. The original plastic housing becomes porous and cracks over time. The updated thermostat begins to open at a temperature of 90 °C, or more than 20 °C earlier than the original. This is particularly important in tuned vehicles and in summer conditions, when the engine cooling system is subjected to greater stress than usual.

The kit also includes our updated water pump with a metal impeller.

The problem with the original water pump is the plastic impeller, which can detach from the shaft. When this happens, the water pump stops working completely, causing the engine to overheat. In the worst-case scenario, this can lead to serious engine damage or even complete engine failure.

The metal impeller of the updated water pump eliminates this known weakness of the original design.

This improves the operation of the entire cooling system and eliminates its main weakness. You can forget about the impeller detachment problems associated with the original water pump and significantly reduce the risks of water pump failure and excessively high operating temperatures.
