Oil-Catchtank-Kit from BAR-TEK® Motorsport suitable for all 1.8T 20V engines like Golf 4, Audi S3, TT and many more.

The one and only Catchtank Kit with TÜV Approval is optional.

This is the best solution to reduce coking to a minimum and keep the engine clean.

Other disadvantages of coking:

  • Dream idling
  • Power loss

Coking is caused by long-life oils, inferior fuel and frequent short-distance operation.
This kit replaces the original rubber crankcase ventilation lines. Since there are often problems with cracking or softening of the original lines, these new lines included in the kit are made of special oil resistant material. Therefore we recommend the installation of our Oil Catchtank Kit.

Closed system. With our kit, the oil vapors from the crankcase and block ventilation are returned to the intake system. All gases are cleaned beforehand in the catch tank. Your engine only gets oil-free air.

The kit consists of:

  • 1x Oil Catchtank open
  • 1x holder for the catch tank
  • 1x 1 meter Dash 10 cables with nylon fabric (especially oil resistant)
  • 2x 45° Dash 10 Fitting
  • 1x 90° Dash 10 Fitting
  • 1x straight Dash 10 Fitting
  • 2x NPT to Dash 10 adapter 90° for the catch tank
  • 1x Adapter Dash 10 Engine breather block
  • 1x Adapter Dash 10 Engine Ventilation Valve Cover
  • 1x Silicone hose
  • 1x Catchtank mounting kit
  • 8x hose clamps

Note for use in cold climates:

The catch tank is primarily designed for a warm climate.
In winter at temperatures below 0°C the condensation water that forms in the system can freeze. This would result in increased crankcase pressure, which could lead to engine damage. We recommend checking and emptying the catch tank system more often in winter or removing it completely for the cold season.
