If the product is not in stock and it is a pre order product, the average delivery time is 5-21 business days. If the product has a longer delivery time than previously announced, we will be in touch. International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties, and customs fees upon arrival in the destination country.

Terms for product returns:

  • You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
  • The products must be unused and without damages
  • Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
  • For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
  • Shipping costs are not refunded

For international orders sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Pre order / made-to-order products

If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

This condition applies to the following product categories:

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.

In the event of such a defect, the standard liability for defects as provided by consumer protection legislation shall apply.

More efficient high-pressure fuel system for Audi 4.2 FSI V8 engines.
BAR-TEK® upgrade high-pressure fuel pumps are designed to significantly improve fuel delivery to the Audi 4.2 FSI V8 engine. The upgraded pumps are based on the original OEM pumps that have been modified to provide higher fuel pressure and greater flow .

Upgrade pumps deliver up to 50% more fuel than a standard pump , making them an excellent solution for tuned engines and turbo and supercharged conversions .

Higher fuel pressure and flow
A 9.8 mm larger piston installed in the pump significantly increases fuel pressure and flow capacity.

Up to 50% more capacity than a standard pump
Provides sufficient fuel even for heavily tuned engines.

DLC-coated lifters
The lifters are coated with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) which reduces:

  • wear and tear

  • friction

  • corrosion

Designed for tuned FSI engines
Especially recommended for tuned Audi RS4 and RS5 4.2 FSI engines.

Tested for high RPM
The pumps have been tested for speeds of up to 8500 rpm .

Plug & Play installation
Since the update is based on the original pumps, installation can be done directly in place of the original pumps .

Available versions

There are two options to choose from:

  • Conversion kit – two conversion kits for upgrading original pumps

  • Complete pumps – two completely rebuilt high-pressure pumps

Fits Audi 4.2L FSI V8 engines such as:

  • Audi A6 C6
  • Audi RS4 (B7/B8)
  • Audi RS5 (B8)
  • Audi S5 B8

Important information about installation:

After installation, the engine must not be started immediately .

  1. Turn on the power.

  2. Wait a moment for the priming pump to fill the high-pressure pump with fuel.

  3. Only start the engine after this.

Otherwise, the new pump may be damaged immediately.

Software update

After changing the fuel system , the engine controller software must be updated to match the new fuel flow.
