Upgraded Clutch Kit for Engines with DQ500-DSG Dual-Clutch Transmission
When power is increased beyond 650 Nm, the standard clutch can no longer keep up. In practice, torque often has to be limited – which we don't want when tuning! In this situation, a reinforced DSG clutch is needed that transmits power fully and doesn't slip under load. Our upgraded DSG clutch kit, including the clutch housing, is perfectly suited for all vehicles with a 7-speed DQ500-DSG transmission, such as the Audi RS3 and TT RS. It allows for perfect power transmission even over 1,000 Nm!
DQ500-DSG Dual Clutch for over 1,000 Nm without slippage
Where the original clutch in 2.5L TFSI engines with DQ500-DSG transmission often starts to slip at around 650 Nm of torque, our kit allows you to shift gears quickly and without loss of grip – and with full power even over 1,000 Nm! This means you don't have to limit the torque, as is often necessary, but can utilize the full extent of the power increase. Our reinforced clutches have already proven themselves in motorsport, so you don't have to worry about high wear on the standard clutch.
Our clutch kit is fully calibrated and ready for installation, including the matched clutch housing. It's not an exchange unit, but a brand new part: the clutch is simply replaced with the original. Only a DSG software optimization is required. We also recommend our DSG oil cooler to extend its lifespan.
