FMIC.Pro valved catback exhaust Ford Mustang 2.3T EcoBoost S550 2015–2023

The FMIC.Pro catback exhaust system is designed to improve exhaust flow and produce a distinctly sportier soundscape.

The 70 mm / 2.75” pipe diameter combined with the muffler design produces a deeper and fuller sound when the engine is under load. At the same time, driving comfort is maintained during normal driving, especially when the exhaust valves are closed.

The exhaust system is made entirely of SS304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and high operating temperatures. CNC mandrel-bent pipes ensure uniform geometry and precise fitment to the vehicle's original mounting points. Installation is straightforward and follows the plug & play principle. All seams are TIG welded under argon gas shielding, ensuring clean, finished, and completely airtight joints – this is important for the longevity of the exhaust system.

CNC-machined 10 mm thick flanges are used at the connection points. They increase structural rigidity, reduce the risk of deformation caused by temperature fluctuations, and ensure even compression pressure on the gasket across the entire connection surface.

The exhaust system features integrated electronic exhaust valves that control the flow of exhaust gases at the rear:

Closed position – exhaust gases pass through the entire muffler system, producing a subdued sound and good driving comfort for everyday driving.

Open position – exhaust gases bypass the rear muffler, making the exhaust sound louder, more direct, and sportier.

Thanks to this solution, the driver can adjust the exhaust system's sound characteristics according to driving conditions and personal preferences. The valves are controlled by the included control unit and two remote controls, which allow the operating mode to be switched instantly.

To achieve the best performance potential, the FMIC.Pro catback exhaust system is recommended for use with a high-flow downpipe, especially on turbocharged engines.
