If the product is not in stock and it is a pre order product, the average delivery time is 5-21 business days. If the product has a longer delivery time than previously announced, we will be in touch.
Terms for product returns:
- You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
- The products must be unused and without damages
- Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
- For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
- Shipping costs are not refunded
For international orders (outside of Europe) sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Pre order / made-to-order products
If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.
If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.
In the event of such a defect, the standard liability for defects as provided by consumer protection legislation shall apply.

PERFORMANCE
Improve gas flow and increase performance with a BMW 4 Series Turbocharger Heat Shield. Funk Motorsport's BMW Turbocharger Heat Shields insulate the hot side of the turbo and keep heat in the exhaust. Hotter gases move faster and exit the system more efficiently, improving turbo spool-up and throttle response precision. Insulating the hot side also helps reduce the spread of heat generated by the turbocharger into the engine bay and intake manifold. Cooler intake air produces more power and more consistent power ratings over the long term.
PROTECTION
The supercharger is a real source of heat in the engine compartment. The excess heat it produces can damage sensitive surrounding components. Protect oil lines, coolant pipes and even nearby bodywork from excessive heat.
RELIABILITY
Insulate your BMW 3 Series turbocharger with a heat shield to reduce excess heat in the engine bay. Lowering the temperature in the engine bay improves the reliability of the electronics and helps keep the temperatures of the coolant, fuel and oil lines better under control. From a reliability perspective, the benefits of a turbocharger heat shield are almost limitless.

Specially developed wire structure that ensures exceptional durability even when the turbo is removed for maintenance. New refractory, extremely high temperature resistant stainless steel wire (approx. 1 mm diameter) that maintains its strength at temperatures above 1300 °C.

WARNING
This turbocharger heat shield is not flammable in itself. However, if flammable liquids come into contact with it, it can become a potential ignition source. Always ensure that all oil and fuel lines and connections around the turbocharger and fuel system are properly maintained. Funk Motorsport accepts no responsibility for contamination of products due to liquids.
