The delivery time for products in stock is 1-5 business days. We ship worldwide.

If the product is not in stock and it is a pre order product, the average delivery time is 5-21 business days. If the product has a longer delivery time than previously announced, we will be in touch. International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties, and customs fees upon arrival in the destination country.

Terms for product returns:

• You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
• The products must be unused and without damages
• Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
• For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
• Shipping costs are not refunded

For international orders sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Pre order / made-to-order products

If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.

In the event of such a defect, the standard liability for defects as provided by consumer protection legislation shall apply.

Funk Motorsport offers two different finishes for their turbo covers: Titanium and Carbon Fibre . Although the appearance varies, both provide equally effective thermal insulation for your turbo.

Both versions use the same 4-layer construction , featuring Funk Motorsport's signature insulation material. The only difference is the material of the outer layer – either carbon fiber or titanium – which mainly affects the appearance.

Available in Titanium and Carbon Fibre finishes , these turbo covers utilise a 4-layer construction developed by Funk Motorsport, which provides up to 3 times better thermal insulation compared to many competing products.

In addition, it is the world's first turbo blanket that can be easily removed for turbo maintenance.

Performance

Improve exhaust gas flow and engine performance with a BMW 5 Series turbo blanket . Funk Motorsport turbo blankets insulate the hot side of the turbo and keep the heat in the exhaust gases.

Hotter exhaust gases move faster, allowing them to exit the system more efficiently. This helps the turbo spool up faster and improves throttle response .

Insulating the hot side of the turbo also reduces heat radiated into the engine bay and intake side. Cooler intake air means better performance and more consistent power ratings over the long term.

Protection

The turbo operates at very high temperatures in the engine compartment. Excessive heat can damage sensitive components located nearby.

Turbo blanket helps protect, for example:

• oil lines

• coolant lines

• fuel lines

• engine compartment structures

from excessive heat.

Reliability

Insulating the BMW 5 Series turbo reduces the heat load in the engine compartment. Lower temperatures improve, among other things:

• reliability of electronics

• temperature control of fuel, oil and cooling lines

Important note

The Turbo Blanket itself is not flammable. However, if flammable liquids come into contact with the blanket, it can act as an ignition source for a flame.

are properly maintained.
