Premier Tuning Group continues the development of the M177 engine platform by introducing the PTG X Turbo System for the Mercedes-AMG M177.1 engine. This complete turbocharger replacement solution is designed for extremely high power levels, enabling performance of over 1300 horsepower.
The PTG X system builds on PTG's extensive experience in tuning M177 engines and further develops the PTG-1000 Turbo System solution by offering even greater flow capacity and performance for the most demanding configurations.
State-of-the-art turbo technologyAt the core of the PTG X turbos is a dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA), which improves turbo response time and durability at extremely high power levels.
The turbo utilizes large, precisely machined components:

62/84 mm 5-axis CNC compressor wheel

62/68 mm Inconel turbine wheel
The turbine housing is made of investment-cast Inconel, which withstands extremely high temperatures and allows for maximum exhaust gas flow.
The compressor housing features an anti-surge design and a violet anodized surge inlet, effectively protecting against turbo surge and improving system reliability.
Easy bolt-on installationThe PTG X Turbo System is designed for direct bolt-on installation on AMG M177.1 engines. The system includes all necessary fittings, hoses, and mounting hardware, allowing for quick installation.
The system uses original wastegate actuators, which facilitates integration with engine management.
