International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties, and customs fees upon arrival in the destination country.

Terms for product returns:

  • You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
  • The products must be unused and without damages
  • Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
  • For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
  • Shipping costs are not refunded

For international orders sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Pre order / made-to-order products

If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.

In the event of such a defect, the standard liability for defects as provided by consumer protection legislation shall apply.

The REVIN Short Shifter for the Volkswagen Golf MK8 and MK8.5 is designed for drivers who want to take gear selection precision to a whole new level. Suitable for Golf GTI and Golf R models, among others, it offers a clearly more mechanical, faster and more controlled gearshift feel compared to the original gear lever.

40% shorter gear range

The gear lever travel is reduced by up to 40% , making gear selection quick and precise. Every shift is crisp and effortless – the perfect solution for sporty driving.

Self-centering spring mechanism

The REVIN self-centering spring naturally returns the gear lever to its center position and reduces unwanted lateral movement by up to 95% . This improves gear selection accuracy and compensates for wear on the transmission and linkage in the long term.

355 mm height from tunnel

The gear knob is located 355 mm above the gearshift tunnel , bringing it closer to the steering wheel. This reduces hand movement and improves reaction speed, especially on winding roads and when driving at high speeds.

Chassis mounted construction

The REVIN Short Shifter is frame-mounted , unlike the original shifter, which is often attached to the transmission. This design minimizes flex, increases rigidity, and provides a clear, mechanical feel to gear selection.

Gear Lockout

The included locking mechanism prevents incorrect gear selections. Reverse, 5th and 6th gears only engage when the lock is activated by lifting the collar under the gear knob – a safe and controlled solution for demanding driving.

Customizable appearance

The gear lever has an M12x1.5 thread , so you can use the original gear knob or install your preferred aftermarket option.

Can be installed under OEM plastics

Designed for easy bolt-on installation , it fits under the original interior plastics with little or no modification.
