Terms for product returns:

• You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
• The products must be unused and without damages
• Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
• For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
• Shipping costs are not refunded

For international orders sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.

Spool FX-170 HPFP Upgrade | BMW N63

The Spool Performance FX-170 is a high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) performance upgrade for BMW N63 engines. This assembly is specifically designed for high-power V8 turbo builds where the stock system is no longer sufficient to meet increased fuel demands.

What is the FX-170?

The FX-170 is an upgraded HPFP with a larger piston diameter than the stock pump. This allows for approximately +50% greater fuel flow.

• Full E85 compatibility
• Plug & Play installation: no cutting or wiring modifications
• +25% higher operating pressure → better injector capacity

Additional capacity allows for:

• Higher ethanol blends
• Larger turbochargers
• Significantly higher power levels

Why is an upgrade necessary?

The N63 engine's stock HPFP quickly becomes a limitation in tuning:

• Insufficient fuel delivery for high power
• Ethanol blends remain limited

The FX-170:

• Significantly increases fuel system capacity
• Improves injector flow with higher pressure
• Enables more powerful and safer tuning

Software Requirements

The FX-170 requires software modifications before commissioning:

• Calibration must be performed before starting the engine
• Operation without adjustment can cause damage and void the warranty

Note: Spool does not provide ready-made custom tunes

Important Note: LPFP

The low-pressure fuel system is critical:

• Insufficient LPFP can damage the HPFP and injectors
• HPFP lubrication relies on fuel flow
• Lack of fuel → wear and failure
