Terms for product returns:

• You must return the ordered products within 14 days of receiving
• The products must be unused and without damages
• Commission fee for handling returns is 21,90€
• For product returns, the customer is in charge of the return costs. Only door to door service (Express)
• Shipping costs are not refunded

For international orders sales are final and non-refundable. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or returned. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

If the product you have ordered is a pre order or made-to-order item, it is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal or return under consumer protection laws, as the product is manufactured or sourced specifically based on the customer’s individual order.

If you wish to cancel your order before receiving the product, we will refund 50% of the total order amount.

All of the above products are manufactured or sourced individually based on the customer’s order, and therefore cannot be returned after delivery, unless the product has a manufacturing or material defect.

The Spool Performance FX-170 is a high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) performance upgrade for AMG M157 engines. This solution is designed for high-power V8 biturbo builds where the standard fuel system quickly becomes a limitation.

What is the FX-170?

The FX-170 is an upgraded high-pressure pump with a larger piston diameter than stock. This allows for approximately +50% greater fuel flow.

• Full E85 compatibility
• Plug & Play installation: no cutting or wiring modifications
• Improves injector capacity and overall system flow

Additional capacity allows for:

• Higher ethanol blends
• Larger turbochargers
• Higher power levels

Why is an upgrade necessary?

The M157 engine's standard HPFP is a limiting factor in tuning:

• Insufficient fuel delivery for high power
• Limited use of ethanol blends

The FX-170:

• Significantly increases fuel system capacity

Software Requirements

The FX-170 requires software modifications:

• Calibration must be performed before use
• Operation without calibration may cause damage and void warranty

• Helps find an experienced tuner

Note: Spool does not provide ready-made custom tunes

Important Note: LPFP

The low-pressure fuel system is critical:

• Insufficient LPFP can damage HPFP and injectors
• HPFP lubrication relies on fuel flow
• Lack of fuel → wear and failure
