The Audi RS6/RS7 and Audi S6/S7 have an indirect intercooler circuit, where the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler. In this vehicle, the intercooler is located in the hot V of the engine to ensure optimal cooling.
The unique Wagner Tuning intercooler has been specially developed for the demanding requirements of the RS models. Thanks to the high-quality intercooler core, it offers 118% more external core volume compared to the original. The ratio between the internal and external cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and at the same time optimal internal airflow. Using CFD simulations, the ends of the radiators were developed from high-quality aluminum cooling casting to ensure optimal airflow conditions. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This series is therefore also ideal for racing use.
The Wagner Tuning intercooler is equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-lasting durability. The system installation is plug & play.
